Our Story

Ponix Gold Laboratory began in 2008 with a simple aim: to give people in The Gambia an honest, accurate place to test and sell their gold. In the 18 years since, we have served miners, traders, jewellers and families, and grown into a full laboratory, refinery and export partner.
Today we help customers at every stage, from testing a single piece of jewellery to preparing gold for international buyers with a written test report. What has not changed is how we work: every lot is tested in front of its owner, and every price is explained.
